Kerry Washington's red carpet outings since she rose to widespread fame via her role as Olivia Pope have cemented her as a bonafide style icon. She takes risks, but always manages to look perfectly put together.
This year, she wore a brilliantly detailed Marchesa gown from the design house's Spring 2014 collection. The mixed media gown features rosettes, beading, and tulle. Kerry paired the gown with an Edie Parker clutch and Fred Leighton jewels. The gown was a show stopper on the runway, and Kerry certainly made a mark on the night of her historic Emmy nomination.
Kerry's hair and makeup accented the romantic sweetness of the gown. Natural makeup and soft curls were a perfect choice.
