Hosted at the Microsoft Theater, formerly known as the Nokia Theatre, in Los Angeles, Calif., MTV’s Video Music Awards will bring another wave of award show fashion from the hottest celebrities in show business.
The annual award show comes with a slew of surprises, both in award winnings and outfit choice.
This particular award show has seen everything from pasties to bodysuits and the infamous naked dress, and even a few “memorable” moments among the stars themselves.
Here’s to a new VMA year with a new set of fashion choices where fringe, metallics, and plunging necklines are running the show. These are our best dressed Black women at the 2015 VMAs:
FKA Twigz in Atelier Versace
Kat Graham
Nicki Minaj in Labourjoisie
Gabourey Sidibe
Serayah McNeill
Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier
Zuri Hall
Normani Hamiton
Every outfit made a statement, some of which different from what the artist would wear. These stars stayed true to 2015 trends.
