Essence Unveils Six Covers Featuring Shonda Rhimes and the #TGIT Family

The Shondaland family including stars from "Grey's Anatomy," "How to Get Away with Murder," and "Scandal" took over six covers of Essence Magazine right before the start of the new seasons of #TGIT.



Shonda Rhimes, Chandra Wilson, Viola Davis, and Kerry Washington are featured on stunning solo covers. While supporting casts of Grey’s Anatomy (James Pickens, Jr., Jason George, Jerrika Hinton, Kelly McCreary) and How to Get Away with Murder (Alfred Enoch, Aja Naomi King, Billy Brown) appear on the two remaining covers.
