Brandon Maxwell made sure Black beauty was well-represented in his fall 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week. Black models are still woefully underrepresented on fashion week runways, but 13 of the 35 looks at the Brandon Maxwell show were worn by Black women including some of our favorites like Maria Borges and Imaan Hammam.
What's even better is that so many of the models wore their natural hair. Not to mention that the designs were chic and wearable.
