Makeup is a mode of self-expression. Though many assume women are using makeup to hide or deceive, that's simply not the case. We celebrate the myriad ways Black women embrace their beauty including through their made up looks. That's why we curate our favorite Black beauty looks of the week. Yes, women can be beautiful without makeup, but, here, we're choosing to celebrate the skill.
