The women representing Lane Bryant are clapping back against fat-shamers in their newest ad. Danielle Brooks and Gabourey Sidibe join Ashley Graham and Candice Huffine and Alessandra Garcia to stand confident in the face of online trolls.
Each of the women read actual comments from haters in the campaign is titled #ThisBody Is Made To Shine while rocking lingerie for a campaign that the company says aims to “spotlight what it means to unapologetically celebrate themselves in spite of any adverse feelings or feedback.”
Representation matters. While these sorts of campaigns usually celebrate the smaller plus-sized women, it's great to see Ms. Sidibe in the mix.
