Aja Naomi King Shines Bright in Vanity Fair

For many, our first introduction to Aja Naomi King was on the Shondaland hit How to Get Away With Murder.  The Yale School Drama graduate (fellow alumni include Angela Bassett and Meryl Streep) posed for Vanity Fair and talked about her rising career.

When asked about what it's like working in Shondaland she explained,  “I love these women for creating an environment where we can all be free, engaged, and not worry about being perfect.”
Ms. King is among a small group of women with deep, brown skin who are getting shots on big stages and we couldn't be happier for her success.
