The Urban Bush Babes, Cipriana and TK Quann, Cover Condé Nast Traveller

Cipriana and TK Quann of Urban Bush Babes landed the cover of the September issue of Condé Nast Traveller. The edition includes a 12 page spread featuring the twin sisters and a special contributor’s note.

Cipriana is the Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Urban Bush Babes and TK (aka TK Wonder) is a writer and musician. The dynamic duo rocked looks by Dior, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and more in the bright and refreshing spread.

Here's what each sister told Condé Nast about their experience.

Cipriana:

“Each day had an element of surprise and to work with such an incredibly talented and amazing team was really an indescribable feeling. To be honest the experience in itself was the icing on the cake, just to be able to do what you feel passionate about and surrounded by individuals that get that! As the saying goes find what you love and never have to work another day in your life, but to top it all off and find out that the September spread was increased from 10 pages to now 12 and then to find out TK and I landed the cover…WOW, I mean wow, it left us speechless! This is one of those unforgettable moments you look back on and think this is what life is about, being with the ones you love, meeting new people and traveling the world to expand the best part of you…your mind, oh and good food, lol. I have been a long time fan of Condé Nast Traveler so a big thank you for not only one of the best work related trips but just the trip itself."

TK:

“I have never been part of a photo shoot quite like this where art meets fashion. I’ve always thought that fashion can be more…fashion can be for a cause because fashion doesn’t just have to be clothes. For me this shoot was more than fashion it was art and to see the way that Peggy Schuller, the stylist, creates these settings for the shoot with her clothes and props it is simply astonishing. She can make something out of nothing. I mean seriously we joked about this. The photographic editor said, “She would be the person you want with you if the airline lost your luggage.” She is just incredible and to see the way the photographer Kristian Schuller works was…wow. My sister and I looked at each other saying, “This is amazing, this is incredible.” So this was definitely a beautiful, beautiful experience shooting with them…”
