3 Incredible Up and Coming Black Women Designers You Need to Know This Season

We had the opportunity to attend Harlem Fashion Row's (HFR) fashion show and style awards where the brilliance of Black women's style was on full display. The fashion world, like most other places, is notoriously white. If you're not rich and/or connected, it's difficult to break in. That's why platforms like HFR are so important. We were introduced to three incredible Black women designers. Here's who you need to know.


M-SEW  Bermuda born Meagan S.E. Wellman started M-SEW in 2014 soon after finishing her fashion design studies at the University for the Creative Arts, Epsom. M-SEW is based in London and specializes in creating luxury womenswear that is effortlessly cool. Made with the woman who’s not afraid to play with her wardrobe and explore her instinctual style in mind







Fe Noel
FE NOEL is a conceptual lifestyle brand that embodies the personal style and sensibility of its designer, Fe Noel. Defined by simple silhouettes, plunging necklines and quality fabrics, each design exudes an innovative mix of sensibility and sensuality. Created for the multifaceted woman that embodies a love for travel and style. 






The Fashion DeliThe Fashion Deli is an internationally acclaimed retail platform and showroom that first opened in Cape Town, South Africa in 2011. The creation and launch of the concept was conceived by South African fashion designer and entrepreneur, Thulare Monareng to leverage a niche retail opportunity for high-end fashion and lifestyle products inspired by and/or made in Africa.
