The Russell Simmons' annual Art for Life gala gathers tastemakers and artists, including honorary chair Ava DuVernay, from various industries to raise money to benefit the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation's arts education programs, which help over 3,000 inner-city youth every year.
This year marked the gala's 20th anniversary, and organizers chose a 1920s theme to celebrate. Angela Simmons nailed the look with bejeweled mini dress, boa, and headdress perfectly befitting a flapper of the era.
