From releasing her newest album Jackie and co-starring on the NBC Variety Show I Can Do That!, to paying tribute to Janet Jackson at the BET Awards and serving as the face of Roberto Cavalli's Fall/Winter 2015 line, singer and dancer Ciara has been busy over the last few months. Now, she is venturing even deeper into the world of fashion as TopShop’s newest Brand Ambassador.
Sir Phillip Green, owner of TopShop, made the announcement on Wednesday, July 8th, at the Fashion Retail Academy Awards in London.
The 29-year-old mother shared an Instagram post of her excitement to be a part of the brand ambassador team for TopShop USA.
TopShop, a British retailer started in 1964 in the basement of a department store, has grown to over 300 stores in the United Kingdom alone. The high street brand has built connections over the years and includes celebrity ambassadors such as Beyonce. Connections with industry insiders were made possible in 2002, when the retailer joined NEWGEN, which allows them to foster new design talent as well as provide a global platform for celebrities. The retailer is now a household name, both on it’s on and at London Fashion Week.
Beyond London, the brand is a household name in the U.S., so we can expect tons of editorials and ad campaigns featuring Ciara in the future.
