Angela Bassett attended the premiere of Breakthrough in Los Angeles where she wore a black halter dress with an empire waist. Breakthrough is a tv documentary series that highlight technological innovations that have changed the world. The series will debut Nov. 1 on National Geographic Channel.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Bassett directed "Water Apocalypse, which focuses on the ways communities and scientists are working to protect the Earth's one percent of usable water."
